Pachyphytum is a rosette-type succulent with chubby leaves, typically covered in farina, a powdery whitish-blue; this serves as mother nature's sunscreen. When in bright light, the pale, blue-green leaves change to vivid pinks and purple. In late winter, they produce bell-shaped, red-orange or yellow-green flowers. A strong component for growers producing dish gardens and mixed succulent programs.
