Aptenia (often called Ice Plant) is a vigorous, mat-forming succulent known for its glossy green leaves and bright hot-pink daisy-like flowers that open in midday sun. Suitable for 4-inch and 6-inch pots as well as in hanging baskets and combination plantings. It is also great for erosion control, it is a vigorous spreader that can quickly cover needed areas. It will also easily cascade over retaining walls as well.
