FOREMOSTCO EXPANDS PRESENCE IN CALIFORNIA WITH APPOINTMENT OF RICHARD JONES


With California the single largest market for lawn and garden products in the U.S., ForemostCo strengthens sales team to meet growing customer needs.

MIAMI—July 27, 2005--ForemostCo named Richard Jones Regional Sales Representative for the Southern California market. Jones will head the firm’s team in supplying Southern California nursery clients who supply a significant portion of this $10 billion annual lawn and garden products market.

Though ForemostCo has had a strong presence in California for over 15 years, and offers direct importation and distribution of product through LAX and Long Beach, having Richard Jones heading up regional sales operations significantly strengthens ForemostCo’s ability to better serve its California-based customers.

Richard Jones brings to ForemostCo over 15 years of sales and management experience including: nursery management, horticulture, chemical distribution, and home improvement. He most recently served as Store Sales Manager at Lowe’s in Burbank, CA. Prior to that, Jones was District Sales Manager for Colorspot Nurseries, one of the largest wholesale nurseries in the U.S. Through his wealth of experience, he has forged a keen understanding of both the horticulture and the home improvement industries.
